Itinerary 2 Days / 1 Night
We pick up passengers from the hotel to visit the subtropical area of the Yungas.
The trip goes through Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 3 hours, crossing a mountain range of enormous masses of stone and rock, gradually descending to the subtropical region, where lower mountains are covered with different vegetation such as the tropical sugar, cocoa, tobacco, coca, coffee and fruit plantations. The scenery is unforgettable and very impressive.
Lodging in a rustic top tourist class hotel.
A pleasant and idyllic walk by the skirts of a hill waits for you.
After a short ascent, we will border the skirts of the hill at the same height, crossing small forests and going by agricultural fields alternated by coca plantations – sacred leaf of the Inca and object of diverse histories and legends.
But also the coca leaf is currently a hot topic – your guide will tell you everything about it.
Descending toward the valley, we will arrive to a small rural community, where our chauffeur who will take us back to Coroico will be waiting for us.
Later, we set out trip to La Paz, this time for the new asphalted highway.
