Transfer in. Accommodation in La Paz
In the afternoon,we pick up passengers from the hotel to visit a typical Indian Market, the famous Witch Doctor’s Market and the San Francisco Colonial Church.
The tour continues to the Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Then, we will visit the famous colonial street “Calle Jaén” where interesting museums are clustered together, followed by the visit to the open air museum from the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida.
The tour ends with a visit to the unique Moon Valley, where you will have the opportunity to walk around, and a visit to a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery.

Uyuni Salt Flat full day program. Overnight at hotel.
After breaktast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Uyuni.
Departure towards the Salt Desert, specifically to Inkawasi Island, also known as Fish Island, this island is located in the heart of the Flats and it is the largest of a group which represents an isolated ecosystem.
The island is full of a cactus species that reach a height of up to eight meters. Added to the background this is an impressive landscape.
After lunch we will cross the flats heading towards the town of San Juan, where we will be staying at a local hostal (with private bathroom and showers).
Visit to the small museum of the town.
Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast we will go to the “Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon), crossing on the way the Siloli Desert where this interesting tree-shaped rock is located, we may also be able to see the famous “Llamas”, “Vicuñas” and a rabbit-like squirrel called “Vizcacha”.
The Laguna Colorada is classified as high Andean water, counting with borax islands in its northeastern and southeastern sections, the red color is due to the fine red sediments on the surface, as well as the pigmentation of certain types of algae. This lagoon is populated by three species of flamingos (Among them the famous James), making it one of the few places on earth where these are found together, sharing nesting places.
At this point we are already in the Eduardo Avaroa National Andean Fauna Reserve, once we arrive to the Red Lagoon we will stay in its lodge (very simple accommodations, basic sanitary services). We will make an excursion through the surroundings.
Dinner and overnight stay.
The trip continues toward the south, to the place called “Sol de Mañana” or Morning Sun where one can see fumaroles, geysers and volcanic holes which take you back to the origins of the formation of the Earth.
The final point of the descent is the “Laguna Verde” of Green Lagoon, an awesome water mirror resembling a giant emerald with a singular shine in the afternoon, its color is caused by the high magnesium content in the water.
Next to this lagoon lies the Licancahur Volcano (5,868 meters high).
We return to Laguna Colorada in order to take the road to San Cristobal town visiting on the way the town of Alota and the Rocks Valley famous for its gigantic rock formations.
Once in San Cristobal we will stay in the San Cristobal Hostal (private bathrooms), dinner and overnight stay.
After brakfast we will return to Uyuni city, visiting “Pampa Colorada” (Red Flat) and the trains cemetery plus a brief tour of the city.

Transfer to the airport to take your flight return to La Paz and connection with your international flight back home.
